1. Who we are and what this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Tradetron Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Tradetron", "we", "us") handles personal information when you use Tradetron for US markets: tradetron.us, our mobile apps, API and AI connectors, a US plan or a US broker (the "Service"). Tradetron for Indian markets is provided by Neutrino Trading Private Limited, our affiliate, under its own privacy policy at tradetron.tech.
The short version: we use your information to run the Service. We do not sell it. We never ask for your broker password, and we never hold your money.
2. What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, phone number, country and state, password (stored only as a one-way hash), sign-in method (including the name and email Google or Facebook send us if you sign in with them) and two-step verification settings.
- Billing details: the plans and strategy subscriptions you buy, amounts, invoices and payment status. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number.
- Broker connection data: which broker you connect, your broker account identifiers, and the access tokens or API keys that your broker or a connection provider (SnapTrade, Connect-Trade, Finatic, Interactive Brokers) issues so the Service can read your account and place orders; plus the balances, positions, orders and fills we need to run and show your strategies. We do not ask for or store your broker password for US brokers.
- Strategies and activity: the strategies you build, backtests, deployments, alerts and notification settings, and messages you send to our AI assistants.
- Support conversations: chats, emails and calls with our team. If a call is recorded, you are told at the start of the call.
- Device and usage data: IP address, approximate location derived from it (country and region), browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, the page or campaign that brought you to us (including UTM tags), and cookie identifiers.
We get this information from you, from your use of the Service, from your broker and connection provider (when you connect them), from Stripe, and from Google or Facebook (when you sign in with them).
3. How we use it
- to create and secure your account, and to run your strategies, backtests and broker connections;
- to take payments, issue invoices and handle refunds;
- to answer support requests and send service messages (for example, order alerts, security notices and plan reminders);
- to send product news and offers, which you can turn off at any time;
- to measure and improve the Service and our marketing, and to fix problems;
- to prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.
We use sensitive information (your login credentials and the tokens that give access to your broker account) only to provide the Service and keep it secure.
4. Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use cookies and similar tools to keep you signed in, remember your choices (such as your market region and light or dark mode), and measure how the site is used. We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager for analytics, and the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure our ads. When you sign up or pay, we may send Meta that event with your email address or phone number in hashed (one-way encrypted) form, so it can measure and improve our ads. We may also send hashed contact details to advertising platforms to show our ads to people like our users, or to avoid showing them to people who already use Tradetron. We never share your trading data, strategies, broker details, passwords or payment card details for advertising.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on, and manage ad preferences in your Google and Meta accounts. Our site does not currently change how it behaves in response to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal information only as needed, with:
- Your broker and connection providers (SnapTrade, Connect-Trade, Finatic, Interactive Brokers), to connect your account and send your orders.
- Service providers that run parts of the Service for us: Amazon Web Services (hosting and storage), Cloudflare (content delivery, security and DNS), Stripe (payments), Mailgun (email delivery), Crisp (support chat), Pusher (live updates in the app), Google (analytics, sign-in and Firebase Cloud Messaging push notifications), Meta (ad measurement and Facebook sign-in), and Anthropic and OpenAI (to answer requests you make to our AI assistants). They may use it only to provide their service to us.
- Our affiliate Neutrino Trading Private Limited in India, whose team builds, operates and supports the platform for us.
- Creators whose strategies you subscribe to, who can see the account details needed to manage your subscription.
- Authorities and others when the law requires it, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights and safety of our users, the public or Tradetron.
- A buyer or successor if Tradetron is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, under this policy.
Your information may be stored and processed in the United States, India and other countries where we or our providers operate.
6. We do not sell your personal information
We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not knowingly sell or share the information of anyone under 16. Some US state laws treat the advertising measures in section 4 (ad cookies and hashed contact details sent to ad platforms) as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising or as "targeted advertising". You can opt out of that at any time: email contact@tradetron.us with the subject "Do not sell or share", and we will leave you out of all future advertising uploads. You can also turn off marketing messages in your notification settings or with the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing.
7. Your US state privacy rights
Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with consumer privacy laws), you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it in a portable format;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete your information;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, targeted advertising and profiling with legal or similarly significant effects (we do not do such profiling);
- limit the use of sensitive information (we already use it only to provide the Service);
- not be treated differently for using these rights.
To use a right, email contact@tradetron.us from the email address on your account (to delete your account you can also write to contact@tradetron.us). We will confirm your identity by matching it to your account, and answer within 45 days (we may extend this once by 45 days if needed and will tell you). You may use an authorized agent; we will ask for proof that you gave them permission. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying with the subject "Appeal"; we will answer the appeal within the time the law of your state allows, and if you are still not satisfied you may contact your state attorney general.
8. Notice to California residents
In the past 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA):
- Identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address, account and cookie IDs): shared with service providers; "shared" with advertising platforms as described in section 4.
- Customer records and commercial information (billing details, plans and subscriptions bought): disclosed to service providers such as Stripe.
- Financial information (broker account identifiers, balances, positions and orders): disclosed to your broker and connection providers.
- Internet and network activity (pages viewed, clicks, referrer): disclosed to analytics providers; "shared" with advertising platforms.
- Approximate location (country and region from your IP address): disclosed to service providers.
- Audio and electronic information (recorded support calls and chats): disclosed to service providers.
- Inferences (for example, the stage of your account, such as new user or subscriber): used for our own marketing.
- Sensitive personal information (account login and the tokens that give access to your broker account): used only to provide the Service, never sold or shared.
The sources, purposes and recipients are described in sections 2 to 5, and how long we keep each kind in section 9. We have not sold personal information in the past 12 months.
9. How long we keep it
We keep your account information while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account (on the delete account page or by emailing contact@tradetron.us), we check for unpaid amounts and, once those are settled, delete your information within 7 days. We keep payment and invoice records, and records we need to resolve disputes or meet legal, tax or accounting obligations, for as long as the law requires. Copies in backups are removed as the backups expire. You can end our access to your broker account at any time by revoking it at your broker.
10. Security
We protect your information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, optional two-step verification, and access limited to the people and systems that need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and turn on two-step verification. We will never ask for your password or broker login by email, chat or phone.
11. Children
The Service is for adults (18 and over). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Your choices
- Turn off marketing emails in your notification settings or with the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Turn off push notifications in the app or your device settings.
- Disconnect a broker in Tradetron, or revoke Tradetron's access at your broker, at any time.
- Update your profile in your account, or delete your account as described in section 9.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date and version at the top of this page change with every update, and we will tell you by email or in the product before a material change takes effect.
